Christopher Paul Hancock, 36, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at the Fitzgerald Church of God in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner and the Rev. Terry Cole officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
Chris was born January 23, 1984, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. He was a 2002 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. He loved working in the powder coating plant for Covered Wagon Trailers. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his Polaris. He loved his children and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his parents, James & Oneita Hancock of Fitzgerald; daughter, Alyssa Hancock and her mother Marie Cordoba; two sons: Weston Paul Hancock and Landon Jon Hancock and their mother, Ashley Hancock; and a brother, Marcus Powell of California. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allie Lois & Cleavous Louis Dominey and Bessie & James T. “Bo” Hancock, Jr.
