Pamela K. Kight, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, went to her eternal resting place Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dr. Brent Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Kight was born April 16, 1949 in Montgomery, Alabama, to the late Jesse & Gladys Newsome Kight. She attended Fitzgerald High School and Ben Hill Irwin Tech. She was a seamstress for SWS Garment. For many years she managed an automotive body shop and was a computer tutor. Mrs. Kight loved making cards, crafts, coloring and reading. Mrs. Kight was a member of Crossview Baptist Church and will be remembered for her beautiful smile.
She is survived by her daughter Derinda Lewis & Darrell of Fitzgerald and two sons: Jimmy Wayne Brady of Jacksonville, Florida and Robert Joel Sims of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Priscilla & Benny Nelms of Fitzgerald; Patricia & Jakie Ethridge of Fitzgerald and a sister-in-law, Johnnie Kay Kight of Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, W.J. “Billy” Kight.
