Keith L. Lott, Sr., 63, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla, Georgia.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Lott was born November 10, 1956, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Clifton & Velma Harper Lott. He was a 1975 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. He worked as the service manager for Fleetwood Homes and was dispatch manager for several freight companies. He also did contract work in construction. Mr. Lott loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid outdoorsman and coached his sons in Little League baseball. He was a member of the former Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dona Prescott Lott of Fitzgerald; children and their spouses: Candice Nicole Lott of Fitzgerald, Keith Lott, Jr. & Rachel of Tifton and Chad Wesley Lott & Lilly of Fitzgerald; a grandson, Chad Lott, Jr.; his brother, Darryl Lott of Fitzgerald; two uncles: Huey & Pat Harper of McDonough and Elmer & Joy Harper of Brunswick; as well as nieces and nephews: Ben Lott, Alyssa Lott, Tillman Lott, Avery Lott, Yvette Lott, and Brandy Lott Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Denver Lott; and a brother, Kenneth “Kenny” Lott.
