Cornish - Laurence E. "Larry" Douglass, 93, peacefully passed away at his home in Cornish on July 28, 2020. He was born in Naples, Maine on January 15, 1927 and was educated in local schools. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy just after World War II.
Larry was a hard worker and was a machinist by trade, working for several companies over the years. He loved camping with his family in his spare time. He enjoyed hunting as a younger man, as well as fishing and woodworking. He was a scout leader and very involved with the Boy Scouts while living in Massachusetts. Larry will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Marjory Douglass. Surviving are his 2 sons, Edwin Douglass and wife Michelle of Norton, Mass., and Lawrence Douglass of Fall River, Mass. Also several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
