WORCESTER- Lincoln M. Moberg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and family on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006.
Lincoln is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lorraine F. (Millard), 3 daughters: Deborah F. Shannon and her husband James L. of Worcester; Patricia A. Gentile and her husband, Peter J. of Worcester; and Charlene M. Albert and her husband, Paul G. of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren- Mary Elizabeth Majersky, James B. Shannon, Michael P. Shannon, Daniel J. Gentile, Erica E. Gentile, Elizabeth E. Gentile, Marykate M. Gentile, Justin E. Orlando, Christopher J. Orlando, and Justin T. Albert; 4 great-grandchildren- Emily C. Majersky, Matthew J. Majersky, Elizabeth M. Majersky, and Shane M. Shannon; and many friends and loved ones. His daughter, Susan E., wife of Gary Orlando of Southboro, predeceased him in 2002.
Lincoln was born on June 23, 1927 to the late Roy E. and Ellen V. (Nelson) and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. He worked for the following companies: Harr Ford, Marine Oil, and ultimately retired from Norton Co. in 1991. For the past 8 years, Lincoln worked part time for the Age Center of Worcester delivering meals to the elderly. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Worcester.
Lincoln enjoyed cooking, woodworking, golfing and gardening. He was an avid camper at Peaceful Acres Campground of Hubbardston, MA for the past 28 years.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, with a mass at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Grove Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006 from 5-8 PM.
