In Taunton, George A. Macomber, age 66, passed away in Morton Hospital on July 27, 2020 following a brief illness. George is survived by his loving wife Wanda (Knapinski) Macomber of Taunton. He was born in Germany, the son of the late George Macomber Jr. and Edith (Schnetz) Macomber. George was educated in Taunton schools. He was employed at Ad-A-Day Company in Taunton. George enjoyed watching NASCAR, classic cars, trains and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife Wanda, he also leaves his Aunt Kathy Macomber, Cousin Charlie Macomber and his wife Jessica all of Taunton. A graveside service will be held at the Mayflower Hill in Taunton on Monday, August 3rd at 10am. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
