Gail V. Burghardt, 75, of North Providence, died Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence after a brief illness. She was the wife of Robert C. Burghardt. They had been married for 42 years.
Born in Providence, Gail had lived in North Providence for the last 40 years and had previously lived in Johnston.
Gail was a bookkeeper for APSO Insurance for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed camping and spent the last ten seasons at Ginny B Campground in Foster.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her stepdaughter: Judi Macaulay and her husband, Michael of East Greenwich, her two grandsons; Ryan and Evan Macaulay, her sister Wanda Hooper of Tennessee and her beloved dog, Coconut.
Visitation Wednesday 10:30-11:30am at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Due to COVID restrictions please visit the family from your vehicle via virtual visitation. Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
