Joseph A. “Cully” Caliendo
Devoted Husband, father, grandfather and friend
NORTH BILLERICA: Joseph A. “Cully” Caliendo, age 64, recently of North Billerica, a former longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Hospital, following a courageous battle with A.L.S. on Friday, July 24, 2020.
He was the beloved husband of Kathy A. (Myette) Caliendo, with whom he recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on July 13, 2020.
Born in Somerville on September 23, 1955, he was the son of the late Salvatore Caliendo and the late Rose Marie (DeNardo) Caliendo.
“Cully” grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School.
In 1993, he and his wife moved to Tewksbury where they raised their family.
Prior to his illness, “Cully” worked in the automotive supply industry for Highland Auto Parts, Somerville and Barry's Auto Parts, Tewksbury.
“Cully” will be lovingly remembered for his tremendous sense of humor, love for music and dancing, and his devotion to his family.
In addition to his wife, Cully is survived by three children, Joseph A. Caliendo, Jr. of Lowell and his former wife, Suzanne Caliendo of Tewksbury, Chris M. Caliendo of Medford and her former partner, Christine Caliendo of Weymouth, and Andrew J. Caliendo of Tewksbury and his former wife, Meghan Caliendo of Tewksbury; five grandchildren, Maddie, Calvin, Sawyer, Bennett, and Colton Caliendo. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
“Cully” was the brother of the late Nancy A. Hutchinson.
At Cully’s request there are no funeral services scheduled.
