Marie McQuarrie, 70, of Londonderry, NH, died Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. Mrs. McQuarrie was born in Houlton, ME on February 10, 1936, a daughter of the late Alex and Beatrice (Morse) Theriault. She had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 39 years, formerly living in Litchfield, NH. She was employed as a school bus driver in Londonderry for over 20 years, as well as working in the lunch program for several years. Mrs. McQuarrie was a caretaker for several elderly people and an avid bingo player. She was a loving mother and a caretaker to all.
She is survived by her husband, Dana A. McQuarrie, Sr. of Londonderry, three sons, Dana A. McQuarrie, Jr. of Londonderry, Bradley McQuarrie of Windham, NH, and Jeffrey McQuarrie of Henniker, NH, three daughters, Kathy Roux of Hudson, NH, Deborah Bergschneider of Concord, NH, and Angela Boyle of Londonderry, nine grandchildren, three sisters, Dorothy Knights of Raymond, ME, Bertha Sawyer of Amity, ME, and Bonnie Theriault of Orient, ME, two brothers, Joseph Theriault of Limerick, ME and Peter Theriault of Danforth, ME, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother George Theriault.
Calling hours were on Thursday, March 2nd from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A funeral service was held Friday, March 3rd at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Litchfield.
