LIMERICK- Linda Nancy Dalpe (nee Peloquin) of Limerick ME passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19th, 2020 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She was 60 years old.
Linda was born January 9, 1960, in Woonsocket, RI to Gerard Peloquin and Nancy Peloquin (nee Ryan). She was the eldest of seven children. She graduated from Bellingham High School in 1977 and received her Associate Degree in Business from Dean College. Linda married Wayne R. Dalpe May 30, 1981.
Linda adored her dogs, her farm animals, and gardening. She was also a deep lover of children, raising four of her own, as well as being a “den-mother” to many more over the years. She was the children’s librarian in Effingham, NH in the early 2000’s which was an experience she truly valued. Linda had a generous nature and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was a Homecare Aid. She participated in the New Durham PTO, Effingham Historical Society and local churches. An avid hobbyist, she loved reading, beekeeping, candle-making, calligraphy, colonial antiques, and many more. Linda is survived by her beloved husband Wayne R. Dalpe, her siblings, her mother, and her children: Victoria Dalpe, Nathaniel Dalpe, Elizabeth Dalpe, Christopher Dalpe, and grandson Roman Gelatt.
