Glenn Allen Dunn, 84, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 7 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner and Minister Teressa McDuffie officiating. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all are encouraged to maintain social distancing and bring/wear a mask.
Mr. Dunn was born May 21, 1936, in Blackey, Kentucky, to the late Monte Allen & Leona Marie Shinnamon Dunn. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He moved to the community in 1979 and worked on the assembly line for General Motors. He enjoyed working on his property and cutting grass. He loved playing the harmonica and will be remembered as a wonderful grandfather. He was of the Church of God faith.
He is survived by his daughters: Venus Dunn Albert of Palm Bay, Florida and Glenda Dunn Mitchell of Fitzgerald; sons, Vincent Patucci of Fitzgerald and Robert Allen Dunn of Hyden, Kentucky; grandchildren: Audrie Elliott of Rochelle, Adrian Ian Elliott of Aiken, South Carolina, David Albert of Palm Bay, Florida, and Robert Allen Dunn, Jr. of Oklahoma; and great-grandchildren: Bailey Cannard, Evan Cannard, Lexie Rogers, Nellee Rose Dennard, Kylie Rogers, Halle Newbern, Auden Dennard, and Ian Dennard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Dunn; a daughter, Patsy Patucci; and a granddaughter, Leah Elliott Newbern.
