Manuel Burgo, Jr., 63, of Middleboro passed away suddenly at home on Friday July 17, 2020.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the son of Patricia A. (Soares) Burgo and the late Manuel Burgo, he lived in Middleboro for many years. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Boston College.
Manny was employed as an electrician for the IBEW Local 103. He had also been a breeder of Champion Rottweilers. He also enjoyed tending to his cows and chickens on his farm.
In his younger years, he was active with his father's gym, Burgo's House of Champions.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia; his son, Manuel Burgo III; four sisters, Debra Rebeiro, Patricia Knight and her husband Troy, Kim Billups and her husband Herb, and Lori Tabares; his grandson, Bentley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Anthony Burgo and Jacqueline Jones.
