Mr. Maraglia died Monday evening at West Acres Nursing Home after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton, the son of the late Leo and Winnifred (Corcoran) (Maraglia) Desormiers, he was a life long resident. He had retired in 1986 he was employed by the New England Telephone at the Brockton South Msin Street Office. Previously he had been employed for 20 years with the former Commonwealth Shoe and Leather Co., Whitman
US Army veteran of WWII, serving with the 708th Amphibious Truck Battalion in the Pacific Theater, Former Member of St. Paul’s Church where he had been a scout master, he enjoyed photography.
