Maraglia, of Brockton, November 19, 2001, Thomas E. Maraglia, 80 years. Husband of Eleanor R. (Williams) Maraglia and father of the late Robert E. Maraglia.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting Hours Friday 3-7pm. Mr. Maraglia died Monday evening at West Acres Nursing Home after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton, the son of the late Leo and Winnifred (Corcoran) (Maraglia) Desormiers, he was a life long resident. He had retired in 1986 he was employed by the New England Telephone at the Brockton South Msin Street Office. Previously he had been employed for 20 years with the former Commonwealth Shoe and Leather Co., Whitman

US Army veteran of WWII, serving with the 708th Amphibious Truck Battalion in the Pacific Theater, Former Member of St. Paul’s Church where he had been a scout master, he enjoyed photography.

Survived by his wife of 57 years Eleanor R. (Williams) Maraglia3 brothers, Joseph L. Maraglia, Arthur F. Maraglia, both of Brockton and William V. Marglia of West BridgewaterSeveral nieces, nephews and cousins.1 aunt Mae Allen of Brockton, and 1 uncle John Corcoran of NortonFather of the late Robert E. “Bob” Maraglia, who died in 1970 while a student at Springfield College Brother of the late Helen M.
