Sheila Shea, of Malden, formerly of County Cork, Ireland, July 17th. Beloved companion of Charles Harrington of South Boston. Sister of Eileen Sullivan and her husband Timothy and Elizabeth “Betty” Scilio and her husband Frank, all of the UK. Sister-in-law of Bartholomew and Eleanor Galvin of Melrose. Loving aunt of Kathy Sherman of Saugus, Dennis Galvin of Haverhill, Sheila Gamst of Melrose and the late Timothy Galvin. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews in the UK. Sheila has been a resident of Malden for over 60 years. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Volpe Construction Company for many years. She also worked for Boston Sand & Gravel in the same capacity. Sheila was a parishioner and active volunteer at Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden for most of her life. She received a Cheverus Award Medal from the Cardinal for her service. Sheila also donated her time at Bread of Life in Malden for many years. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday July 22nd at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in New Calvary Cemetery in Boston. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass on Wednesday only.
