FALL RIVER – Ines F. DeAlmeida, age 82 of Fall River, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in São Martinho do Bispo, Coimbra, Portugal, Ines was the daughter of the late Joaquim Godiñho Ferreira and the Maria da Conceicão Ferreira. She was also the beloved wife of the late Antonio Marques DeAlmeida.
Prior to retiring, Ines worked for Woodland Mfg. in Fall River as a machine operator, making coats. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church. But most of all, Ines loved spending quality time with her family, especially her three grandchildren.
Survivors include her two Sons: Tony Almeida and Joe Almeida, both of Fall River; three Grandchildren: Matthew Almeida, Alex Almeida, and Sara Almeida; nieces & nephews. Ines was predeceased by her two Sisters.
Ines’ funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
