Leonard N. “Lenny” Augello, of Coconut Creek, FL, formerly of Winchester, MA, died on July 4, 2020 at the age of 92. He is survived by his sons, Bruce (Mary Beth), John (Todd), and Mark (Julie) Augello, grandchildren Dana and John Lyman, Taylor and Kyle Augello, a sister, Alfonsina “Dolly” Joyner and many treasured nieces, nephews, and friends, including Lorraine Marsh Losanno, Barbara Marsh Clark, Charles Joyner, Richard Joyner, David Joyner and Judy Joyner DeSimone. He is predeceased by his parents Nicola and Maria (Fiorella) Augello, his beloved wife Roberta “Bobbi” (Gibson), his sons Leonard and Paul Augello, daughter Anita “Sparky” Augello Preston, sisters, Anna Augello Tobacco, Celeste Augello Marsh and Rose Augello Carye, his nephew Michael Tobacco and niece Christine Joyner Moister.
Leonard was born in Scranton, PA and grew up in Massachusetts. He graduated from Everett High School in 1945 before joining the United States Navy during WWII. Leonard obtained his Bachelor of Law from Suffolk Law School in 1952 and the same year was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. He was also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in ceremonies conducted before the full bench of the Supreme Court. Leonard served many years as Chief Counsel for the Hartford Insurance Company in Boston until he retired.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Massachusetts.
