WORCESTER____Kazimer J. “Kazzy” Nevers (Neverdausky) of 7 Esther St. died Wednesday, February 22, in The Veteran’s Hospital of Jamaica Plains, MA.
He is predeceased by a sister, Lyria A. Romanowski. He was born in Waterbury, CT, the son of Dominick and Anna (Blazys) Neverdausky and lived here most of his life.
Mr. Nevers was a machinist and worked at the former Crompton & Knowles Co. He graduated from Commerce High School. Kazimer was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, serving as a Lieutenant (JG) serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre and was a member of the VFW. He was a pilot and instructor while in the navy, receiving several commendations for his service. Kazzy’s interests included world political events and sports. He especially enjoyed attending Holy Cross College football and basketball games.
The funeral will be held on Monday, February 27, with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Casimir’s Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., is assisting with arrangements.
