Melba Patsy Roberts Brown, 80, of Ashburn passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at her residence.
Patsy was born on September 29, 1939 in Turner County to the late Marvin S. and Ilene Turner Roberts. She was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-mother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patsy was a devoted leader and volunteer with the Girl Scouts for over 30 years. She posted daily prayers on Facebook for her friends to read.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Pat) Caton of Coverdale, Cordelia (Danny) Rosazza of Avondale, Pennsylvania and Sylvia (Terry) Arnold of Coverdale; son, George Brown of Coverdale; grandchildren, Nicole Caton, Calvin (Carol) Caton, Rebecca Rosazza, Sara Rosazza and Jessie Arnold; great-grandchildren, Addison Caton and Laura Caton. She is also survived by many "honorary" children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harris Brown and her siblings, Gwendolyn Bankston, Jane Tindall and Rayford Roberts.
Funeral service will be private.
