Obituary

Gary passed on July 4th, peacefully at home with Ger, his best friend of thirty years, by his side.

Gary volunteered to enlist in the U.S. Army. When the Vietnam War broke out he served a tour of duty in Vietnam near Saigon. He served active duty for three years, from 1964-1967.

Gary loved to travel a great deal with his best friend Ger. there were many good times to be had on the many cruises they went on. He also loved to go out to eat and have day trips with family and friends. He always loved a good party too.

He was always well known for speaking his mind and quirky sense of humor. All his family and friends loved and adored him. a loving and supportive uncle to his niece Tammi and her children. they will miss him greatly. German and all his other close friends will miss their loyal, sincere and loving friend.

He is survived by his niece Tammi Richardson, great niece Rachel Johnsen, great nephew Jonathan Rivera-Johnsen, great great nephews Luther Mnyawami and Eric Mnyawami. His long time dear friend German Crisostomo. Nephews, William and James Deal, niece Kathy Howard and many more great and great great nieces and nephews.

A burial service with honors will take place a Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Thursday July 9, 2020 at 10:45 A.M.
