Freda "Lucille" Mullins
July 19, 1933- July 2, 2020

Freda "Lucille" Mullins, 86, of Anderson, died July 2, 2020 at her home in Anderson, following an extended illness.

She was born in Hyden, Kentucky on July 19, 1933, the daughter of Marvin Shepherd and Gladys (Dixon) Shepherd Woods. She graduated from Leslie County High School and was a bus driver for Hayden Transit for 25 years. She was a musician and member of the Mullin's Family Gospel Band. She enjoyed her grandchildren, crocheting, singing, cooking and entertaining.

She is survived by her two children, Yolanda (Roy) Skidmore and Anthony Jason (Lora) Mullins all of Anderson, eight grandchildren, Amanda Mullins, Angela "Nikki" (Tony) Sparks, Ashley Standlee, Paige Mullins, Justin Mullins, John (Candi) Mullins, Mindy (Jeff) Edwards, and Le Ann (Anthony) Skidmore-Sheets; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Debra Woods and Glenna Burchett both of Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father who raised her, Willie Woods; her husband Kahn "Moon" Mullins on July 1, 2003; daughter, Teresa Mullins; two sons, Craig Mullins and Marvin Mullins; a sister, Mildred Roberts and a brother, David Woods.

Funeral services will held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Clyde Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the funeral home beginning at 11 AM.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
