Mattier, Jennayia L., 37 of Boston, MA, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2020. She is survived by both parents Angela Mattier and Reinaldo Rivera, her baby sister Prayer, her beautiful daughters, I’znayia, Farrah and Z’yhana and her grand-daughter Liliana whom she loved deeply. She is the younger sister of the late Reinaldo Rivera, Jr. She leaves a host of family, her paternal grandmother, aunts, cousins and friends. Jennayia was a kind and gentle Spirit she wore a constant smile and loved her family with her heart and Soul. Services are Tuesday July 7th from 12-2pm at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02127.

But her wings were too light

To flap

So dainty
She hovered
Like a little Cherub

She dipped

She glistened with a heavenly glow
More beautiful than you’ll ever know
She giggled

And that’s when she found the strength in her wings and she flew
