A Celebration of life for Mr. Robert “Bob” McAllister, 75, of Ashburn, GA will be held at Perry Funeral Chapel for the family. Mr. McAllister passed away Tuesday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
The son of the late Robert Jacob and Edith Margaret Purdue McAllister, he was born in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. McAllister was retired from Florida State Hospital as Department head of Housekeeping. He was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church in Ashburn.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Milhous McAllister of Ashburn, GA; his children, Robert Edward McAllister and his fiancé Lisa Saylor of Chula, GA; Beth (Tommy) Garren of Sycamore, GA and Janet Harlan and her fiancé Steve Kuzdrowski of Sun Prairie, WI. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Robby (Magan) Garren, Lori (Timmy) Handley, Justin Griffin, Katey Saylor, Joey Harlan, Kaylan Harlan and her fiancé Henry Peebles and Andrew Harlan. His great grandchildren, Emily Handley, Reed Handley, Mark Garren, Avery Garren, Lillian Harlan, Kyler Harlan and Kaven Harlan. Also he is survived by several cousins.
