Paul Anthony Harrell II died on June 20, 2020 at home after a long illness.
Born on December 20, 1953 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to his father Lt. Col. (Ret) Paul A. Harrell and Myrtle B. (Cooper) Harrell, Mr. Harrell traveled the world extensively as his father took Army postings from Panama to Korea to Germany. After attending college in Beirut, Lebanon and Washington, DC Mr. Harrell lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for five years.
Returning to the DC area he met and married his wife, Nancy. Making his home in Virginia and then in Massachusetts for the past 27 years, Mr. Harrell pursued a career in software sales and real estate. His favorite place of all was Madaket on the west coast of Nantucket where he and his family vacationed every August for the past 24 years. Mr. Harrell was an avid collector of Inuit art and Native American woven baskets.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nancy, his children Kathleen, Mary, and Paul, and his brother, David M. Harrell.
A memorial mass will be held on July 7th at 10:30 am at St. Agnes church, Reading, MA.
