In Taunton, David L. Mowery, Age 74, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 24, 2020. David was born in Danville, PA, the son of the late David L. & Madeline (Westgate) Mowery. David had resided in Taunton most of his life. He was educated in Taunton schools. David was employed as an auto mechanic, working for Armand’s and Rose’s Garages in Taunton. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, fixing and racing cars at Seekonk Speedway, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, family cookouts and spending time with family. David is survived by his loving siblings, Elaine Silvia and husband Joseph of , NH, Donna O’Brien and husband Robert of Taunton, Patricia Mowery of Maryland, Kathleen Karol of RI, Melissa Avery and her husband Patrick of Taunton and the late Bonnie Perry. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, June 30th from 9:30-10:15am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Monday from 5-7pm. Burial will be in the family lot in Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
