Southbridge – Richard A. Terrien, 65, of Sturbridge passed away on Monday, June 22nd in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge after a lengthy illness.
Richard is survived by his wife, Christina (Alexander) Terrien; a daughter, Melissa Tremblay and her husband, Robert of Southbridge; a stepson, Scott Redmond and his wife, Laura of Southbridge; a sister, Tina Terrien and her husband, James Perron of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Janelle, Arthur and Matthew Tremblay all of Southbridge; 4 step grandchildren, Krystle, Eileen, Stephanie and April Redmond all of Southbridge; a niece, Nicole Perron; a nephew, Daniel Perron and 4 great nieces and nephews.
Richard was born in Shirley, MA son of the late Richard and Joan (Redmond) Terrien and is also predeceased by a sister, Cindy Bisson. He graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade High School where he studied plumbing.
Mr. Terrien worked for many years as a truck driver and recently worked for 15 years with Royal Linens. Richard enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he was either boating or camping and was the happiest when he was able to spend time with his daughter and grandchildren.
