Dianne M. (Michaud) Massa, 72, of Chelsea and formerly of Salem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She will be remembered for her courage and grace, as she faced her long battle with Multiple Myoloma.
Born in Peabody and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Anne V. (Parachojuk) Michaud and was a graduate of Salem High School. Dee worked for 47 years for the Hertz Corporation at Logan International Airport for many years and retired from Hertz as concierge at the downtown Boston office. She loved her customers, many of whom became friends throughout the years.
Dee loved the beach, her convertible and her trips to Cape Cod. Her sense of humor, optimism, kindness and contagious laugh will be greatly missed and the world a little less bright with her passing.
She is survived by her loving partner, Philip E. Janice of Chelsea, her sister, Joyce Benjamin of Danvers, her niece Wendy Sholds and her husband Wayne of Salem and their daughter Shannon. She also leaves many cousins on her paternal and maternal side including, Zorina Latores and Gregory & Erroll Parachojuk as well as many devoted friends.
Relatives are invited to her visiting hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM with her funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00. Guests must wear protective masks and maintain 6 feet social distancing. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
