Kathi A. Webster, 53, of Manchester, NH, died February 19, 2006 at her home, of cancer.
She was born on January 12, 1953, in Manchester, the daughter of Berwin H. and Mary (Manning) Webster.
She had resided in Mont Vernon and Amherst NH, Tampa FL, and most recently in Manchester NH.
She was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School and a 1975 graduate of St. Anselm College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She had worked in the intensive care unit, emergency room, and in supervisory positions at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester and St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua NH. In 1986 she served as secretary of the Coalition of Action for Nursing and lectured nationally at nursing conferences on telephone triage nursing. In 1988 she worked for the Ask-A-Nurse Program at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa and at All Children’s Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital, both in Florida. Most recently, she worked with the Elliot on Call Program in Manchester.
During her more than 30 years as a nurse, she worked to save lives, promote health, helping many individuals and families.
She loved photography, computer games, history and her pets.
She is survived her husband Jim Sharrer of Tampa Florida, her mother Mary Webster of Manchester, her twin sister Janice Brown of Mickelton NJ, 3 brothers John P. Webster, Peter J. Webster of Hooksett, and Thomas Webster of Manchester NH., a nephew Borne Mace of Concord and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
