Obituary

Ada Lee Mobley, 76, of Brooksville, Florida (Formerly of Fitzgerald) died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, February 24, 2006, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Bro. Eddie Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7-9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mobley was born January 5, 1930, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Wilson and Zadie Parks White. She lived in Brooksville for the past four years from Fitzgerald, where she lived most of her life. Mrs. Mobley was former co-owner of W.A.’s Meat House, a former employee of Lowell’s Packing Company, Cleghorn Grocery, and Mobley Sausage Company. She was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God and attended Christian Fellowship Church in Brooksville.

She is survived by sons: Willie A. (Julie) Mobley, Jr., Jimmy (Glenda) Mobley and Carlos Mobley, all of Fitzgerald: daughters, Linda (Kent) Phillips of Fitzgerald and Brenda (Larry) Keen of Brooksville, FL: grandchildren: Johnny Mobley, Jeremy Phillips, Jason Mobley and Sandi Lee Mobley; great grandchildren: Matthew Mobley, Joshua Mobley and Nate Phillips; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Mobley, Sr., a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Mobley, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.
