Alan L. Fenster, 69, of Londonderry, NH died Saturday June 20, 2020 at his home with his wife and two daughters by his side. This was after a long and courageous battle with bladder cancer. Alan was born in Brookline, MA on November 17, 1950, a son of the late Nat and Zelda (Gersh) Fenster. He had resided in Londonderry since 1990, where he had become a leader and close friend to the members of Londonderry and Manchester Christian Church. He worked 21 years in the town of Londonderry as everyone’s favorite Pharmacist, he was loved by all with his charismatic personality and kind heart, being in his presence always put a smile on your face.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia (Loiacono) Fenster of Londonderry, two daughters, Kristen Hudon of Manchester, NH, and Melissa McGinnis of Auburn, NH, three grandchildren, Asia Marie McGinnis, Gavin Miles McGinnis, and Madelynn Rose Hudon.
Following cremation, a memorial celebration will be held at a future date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215, please earmark for Bladder Cancer Research. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
