Benjamen Marcellus (70) of Brockton died June 13th peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Andre-Rose (Bruno) Marcellus of Brockton.
He was born in Ranquitte, Haiti, son of the late Aristherne Marcellus and Irena (Jean) Marcellus. Benjamen worked as an electrician by trade and enjoyed eating, telling jokes and socializing with his family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 5 sons, Guery and Bens Marcellus both of Brockton, Myson, Benjamen and Steeve Marcellus all of Haiti, a daughter Esther Marcellus of Brockton, (father of the late Rachelle Marcellus), 3 brothers, St. Ange Marcellus of Randolph, Vincent and Octave Marcellus both of Haiti, a sister Gertha Marcellus of Florida, a grandchildren on the way.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday June 19th from 3-5 pm. Cremation to follow. Due to the COVID-19 Massachusetts Phase 2 Guidelines the Funeral Home will be open to 40 percent occupancy, face masks are required and please practice social distancing. We are all in this together.
