Joseph F. LaRosa of Bridgewater, Massachusetts died June 12, at home after a long illness.
Born in Boston, MA September 11, 1932 son of the late Madelyn Caruso of Avon, he attended school in Cohasset and spent most of his career working as a construction laborer and builder until his retirement.
He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family. He also enjoyed fishing, camping vacations and following his favorite drum and bugle corps across the country.
He was husband to Audrey (Brown) LaRosa for 61 years, loving father to 5 children, Joseph F. LaRosa Jr. of Ocala Florida, the late Barbara A. LaRosa of Abington, Michael P. LaRosa of East Bridgewater, Mari-lee (LaRosa) Mann of Rockland and David J. LaRosa of Abington, grandfather to 12, and great grandfather to 8.
Visitation will be held Wednesday June 17th from 2 to 3PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. A private family service will follow after visitation.
