Michelle Marie Bell passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Palmyra, Maine, on June 8, 2020, at the age of 50.
She was born on January 26, 1970, to Charles and Lorna Patterson in Sharon, Massachusetts. She graduated college with a master’s degree in speech therapy and was proud to work as the rehabilitation manager for the Maine Veterans Home for several years. She absolutely adored her MVH coworkers who became like a second family to her.
Michelle loved cooking, camping, photography, and travel, but most of all she loved her family. She was a proud wife, looking forward to her upcoming 20th wedding anniversary. She enjoyed supporting her children in all of their pursuits from sports to academics to music. She was also excited to have recently become a grandmother. Michelle cherished the time she was able to spend with her loved ones in their newly renovated backyard made just for her. She was also looking forward to spending time with her friends during the upcoming camping season.
Michelle was a funny, kindhearted, and loving woman who will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to meet her. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Steve Bell; her children Ryan and Kailey Bell, along with Kassidie Shaw and husband Andrew; her granddaughter, Lilly; her parents, Charles and Lorna Patterson; and her beloved dog, Oakley. She was predeceased by her brother, Scott Patterson.
