Obituary

CHICOPEE - Robert L. Breault, Sr., 85, of the Beaven Kelly Home in Holyoke and a former longtime resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. He was born in Chicopee on October 21, 1934, a beloved son of the late Frederick E. Breault and Alice D. (Huot) Breault. He was raised in the Aldenville section of Chicopee and lived there for most of his life. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and attained the rank of Private 2nd Class. He was employed at the Savage Arms Company in Westfield and previously ran the Chicopee Boys and Girls Club. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rachelle L. “Rae” (Bolger) Breault who was Called Home on May 1, 2020. He leaves his loving sons, John F. Breault and his partner, Melodie Carpenter, of Granby and Thomas J. Breault and his wife, Michelle, of Mulberry, FL; his ten cherished grandchildren; his five cherished great-grandsons, his three dear sisters-in-law, Dorothy E. “Dottie” Breault and Nadine Malone and her husband, Francis “Fran” , all of Chicopee and Charlene Beede of East Liverpool, OH; his dear brother-in-law, Alan Bolger of Braintree; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Breault and Bolger families. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his loving daughter, Donna L. Moon who was Called Home on November 17, 2010; his cherished grandson, David R. Moon, Jr. who was Called Home on October 20, 1988; his loving son, Robert L. “Bobby” Breault, Jr. who was Called Home on July 12, 2018; his dear brothers, Donald O. Breault and his wife, Jacqueline, and Norman F. Breault; and his dear sister, Claire E. Gagne and her husband, Joseph. His burial with United States Army Military Honors will held at the convenience of his family at Sainte Rose Cemetery, Chicopee.
