Obituary

“Teamsters”
Quinlan J. "Quinny" Sullivan Jr., a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home in Charlestown. He was 60 years of age.

Quinny was born in Somerville on June 23, 1959, a son of the late Quinlan J. Sullivan and Louise J. (Kinsley) Sullivan. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1978. Quinny worked as a Truck Driver and was a member of The Teamsters Union Local # 25 for 30 years and had been working with the movie crew before his illness. While growing up in Charlestown, Quinny was a standout football player and played in the Boston Park League with the Townie football team and the Eastern Football League with the Cowboys. Quinny enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his 2 sons and also took great enjoyment with his nieces and nephews . In his spare time, Quinny enjoyed sitting on his back deck with Ace.

Quinny is the devoted father of Connor Sullivan and Quinlan Sullivan and their mother Katie. He is the beloved brother of Patrick Sullivan and his wife Janet "Twinkle", Sean Sullivan and his wife Carolanne and the late Kathleen L. "Kathy" Sullivan. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. He is the dear cousin of Karen and Joe DeRosa and his many other loving cousins. He is the beloved brother-in-law of Jacqueline and John Burgess and the Russell family. He is also survived by his beloved dog Ace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Quinny's Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12 Noon in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. (MASKS ARE REQIRED INSIDE CHURCH AND SOCIAL DISTANCING SHOULD BE PRACTICED INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF CHURCH). Quinny's burial is private.

THERE ARE NO FUNERAL HOME VISITING HOURS.
