Ronald Stanley Archer, 60, of Ty Ty died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Phoebe-Putney Hospital in Albany. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Lee Chambers will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at Bowen-Donaldson from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Archer was born on September 30, 1945 in Tift County and was the son of Walter Stanley and Margaret Lucile Hitchcock Archer, both deceased. He was a sales representative of automotive repair equipment and a member of Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Rob Archer of Albany; one daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Brian Massingill of Valdosta; three grandchildren, Addison Archer, Cole Massingill and Rachel Massingill.
