Sandra A. Allen, 77, of Blackstone passed away Saturday June 6, 2020 at home. She was the loving wife of Richard T. Allen. They were married in November 1962.
Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Oleska) Cluin. She was raised in Lincoln.
Sandra worked for the Blackstone Public School system in the cafeteria at Blackstone-Millville Elementary School. She later worked in the food service and catering department for Sodexho Inc. at Waters Corporation and EMC in Milford.
Sandra enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, game shows, scratch tickets and cooking. She also enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was not above an occasion trip to Twin river to “try her luck”.
Sandra loved to spend time with her family. She will be remembered as a friendly and outgoing person.
In addition to her husband Sandra is survived by a daughter Tracey Graves of Bourne, MA, three sons Jeffrey and wife Victoria of Blackstone, Mark and his wife Kirsty of Maine, Donald and his wife Onalee of Ontario, Canada. A brother Thomas Cluin, a daughter-in-law Shannon Arrowsmith and two sisters-in-law Sandra Williams and her husband Gordon of Blackstone and Martha Cluin. Six grandchildren Alexandra Graves and her fiancé Greg of Falmouth, Jessica Graves of Blackstone, Braylin Allen of Blackstone, Tristyn Arrowsmith of Blackstone, Nadia Corkum and Matthew Corkum of Ontario, Canada and a great-granddaughter Maisy Ingersoll. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and their families.
Services for Sandra will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Problem Pregnancy of Worcester 495 Pleasant St. Worcester, MA. 01609, a pro-life organization dedicated to providing pro-life options for unexpected pregnancies.
