Fall River - Maria Sandy (Furtado) Macedo, age 68, passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020. Born in Sao Miguel Acores she was the daughter of the late Joe and Maria Furtado and was the beloved wife of Antone Macedo. She was a machine operator at Globe Manufacturing and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Joe, Barbara, Dean, Mike, Dennis and Zaina Macedo, brother Mario Furtado , 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Eduardo Antone, and Manuel Furtado, Fernanda Pontes, and Serafina Franco.
Her private funeral arrangements are in the care of Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home Inc.
