Audry Ann Moran, 81, long time Cranston, R.I. resident, passed away comfortably Sunday, June 7, 2020. at the Steere House in Providence, R.I.
Audry is survived by her son, Richard J. Harris and daughter-in-law Lucy Ann Harris of Cranston, son, William E. Harris of Woonsocket, and daughter, Shannon A. D’Ovidio and son-in-law, Ralph D’Ovidio of Warwick. She also was the grandmother of Michael R. Harris, Olivia Helen Maria Harris, Robert Boatner and Connor Doyle.
Born in Taunton, MA. in 1938 to John F. Silvia and Helen ( Murach) Silvia. Audry was their youngest child, sister of the late Jane M. Morrocco and Robert F. Silvia. Audry attended Cranston High School and also graduated from the Rhode Island School of Cosmetology and New England Tech.
Audry enjoyed drawing, painting, music, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and her family. A resident of Cranston for most of her life, Audry and her two young boys moved to Anaheim, California in the late 1960s and spent five years living there before returning to their hometown of Cranston, R.I. along with her daughter.
Audry retired from the Shaw’s Supermarket where she served in various capacities including florist and clerk.
Services will be private to the immediate family at this time. A Memorial Mass will be held at her parish, St. Matthew, along with a Celebration of Life event at a later date this summer.
