Lorraine E. (Dexter) Sullivan, 92, of New Bedford died peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of the late John C. Sullivan.
Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Harding) Dexter, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fairhaven.
Lorraine loved cooking for her family.
She is survived by her son, Daniel J. Sullivan; her daughter, Christine Almeida and her husband Paul; four grandsons, Paul Almeida and his wife Paula, Michael Almeida, Sean Almeida, and Kyle Sullivan and his partner Monica Febres; eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Haley, Emma, Caitlin, Brady, Jacoby, Dane, and Logan; her niece, Lucy Pinto; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Kevin J. Sullivan.
