Julia A. DaSilva, 85, of New Bedford passed away Saturday June 6, 2020 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford after a long illness.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Julio J. and Maria Atias (Pereira) DaSilva, she lived in New Bedford since 1978.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church
Miss DaSilva was formerly employed by the Knapp Shoe Company until her retirement.
She is survived by two sisters, Ana DaSilva and Domingas Duarte; two nieces, Maria Verissimo and Christina Panek; and a nephew, Carlos Duarte.
She was predeceased by her sister, Isaura A. DaSilva.
