Mrs. Jeanne (Lebouef) Marcinczyk, 88, of Webster, passed away on June 2, 2020 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
She leaves her daughter, Chris Marcinczyk and Barbara Osimo of Quinebaug, CT. Her granddaughter, Jess Ward and her partner Creig Charron of Webster, grandsons, Matthew Marcinczyk of Webster and Patrick Sleigher of Quinebaug, CT, She also leaves great grandchildren, Amber Ward and her partner Taylor Gomes of Seabrook, NH, Brittany Ward and her partner Chans Squires of Oxford, Jacob Ward and his partner Natalie Martins of Leicester and Paige Ward. Brothers, Emile Lebouef of Tennessee and Raymond Lebouef and his wife Cecile of North Carolina. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Henry, Sr. in 2016 and her son Henry, Jr. in 2014, brothers Paul, Louis, Richard and Gerald Lebouef, and her sisters, Marguerite Lebouef, Pauline Lebouef , Doris Lafleur, Lorraine Stawiecki, Yvette Grenier and Judy Bachand.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Rudolph and Florida (Blanchard) Lebouef. She attended St. Ann’s School in Webster. Jeanne worked at various shoe manufacturers in the Webster/Dudley area over the years and retired from Webster Manor Nursing as a CNA in 1991.
The family would like to thank everyone that offered friendship and kindness to Jeanne over the last few years. Special thanks to her caregivers and friends Marie Dionne, Michael Jette, Christine Muga, Stephanie McDaniel, Tracie Gonzales, Rebekah Wilson, David and Sally Carlson, Tara and Tom Devish, Missy and Eric Hughes, Dennis Anderson, Mark Kempinski, and all the doctors, nurses and staff at Summit Elder Care in Webster, and the staff at Southbridge Rehab.
Jeanne was a kind and giving soul, loved by everyone she met. Doing for others as often as she could is what made her most happy. Random acts of kindness were a way of life for her, nothing would give her more joy than if everyone would do one or two in her memory.
Also, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne’s memory to the Webster Animal Shelter , 350 Main St, Webster or the Community Cat Connection, 298 Thompson Rd., Webster, MA. 01570.
A burial service for Jeanne and her husband Henry will be held at St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery in Webster at a later date.
The ROBERT J. MILER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster is assisting the family with arrangements.
