WEBSTER/WORCESTER – Elizabeth J. (Kaliunas) Pavolis, 82, of Webster, formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, Feb. 19, at home after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Albert A. Pavolis; a son, Russell S. Pavolis of Oakham; a daughter, Judith A. Potvin and her husband Thomas E. of Webster; 4 sisters, Helen Miller of Surprise, AZ, Frances West of Worcester, Mary Boulay of Spencer, and Josephine Widun of Naples, FL; 3 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her half sister Anna Damstrom.
She was born in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of Alexander and Yadviga (Lapinauskas) Kaliunas, and lived in Worcester most of her life, moving to Webster in 2004. She graduated from Fanning Trade High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Pavolis was a cafeteria worker at Forest Grove Junior High School in Worcester for 27 years, retiring as the manager in 1996.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster and a longtime member of Our Lady of Vilna Church in Worcester.
