Bruno M. Salvucci, of Lowell, formerly of Brighton, passed away on Monday, June 1st. He was 89. Born and raised in Brighton, he was the son of the late Donato and Gerada Salvucci.
Bruno enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in the spring of 1952, from Boston, serving during the Korean War; he was honorably discharged in 1954, from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Bruno had a kind disposition and a heart of gold, but was known to be extremely stubborn at times. He was a loyal man; and was dedicated to his family and friends. He enjoyed a nice cold cocktail, playing the lottery, frequent trips to Foxwoods and winning at cards.
A talented brick layer and dedicated member of the Massachusetts Brick Layers Union. Bruno was an extremely hard worker and an expert when it came to any masonry project.
Bruno was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Todaro) Salvucci. He was the devoted father of Geraldine A. Eberhard, and her husband Richard L. of Lowell, and Daniel M. Salvucci, and his wife Sharon L. of Danvers. He was the loving Grampy of Jayana J. Salvucci and Benjamin Eberhard. He is also survived by many loving family members.
All funeral services are private. A celebration of Bruno’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
