Yvonne Marie (Hummel) Smith, 84, of Anderson, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at home.
She was born on October 27, 1935 in Livingston,TN, the daughter of Ernest and Lorene (Allred) Hummel. She was employed in the bakery at Payless for many years retiring in 1996, and was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ.
Yvonne is survived by her two daughters, Frances Char (Harold) Brinkley of Anderson and Patsy (Terry) Wools of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Stacy Brinkley and Steven Brinkley both of Anderson; 7 great grandchildren, Christopher (Taylor) Shoemaker, Brandon Shoemaker, Austin (Shelby) Anderson, Elton (Sierra) Rees, Austin Rees, Aleya Sandlin, and Aiden Brinkley; a great great granddaughter, Delilah Shoemaker; two sisters, Brenda Huffer and Glenda Harvey both of Livingston, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Herbert Smith in 1987; three brothers, Melvin, Hollis and Ranzel Hummel and a niece, Kim Hummel.
The family has chosen cremation. Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service handled arrangements.
