She is predeceased by her parents Elizabeth (Penney) and William Ford, and her sister Irene (Ford) Munn. Also survived by her siblings, Carol Young and her husband Richard of Hampstead, NH, Margie Ford of Quincy, and William Ford and his wife Lynne of Bridgewater as well as her Kenneally brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Born in Quincy, on March 27, 1954, Cece was educated at St. Joseph’s School and was a very proud graduate of Quincy High School class of 1971. She met the love of her life in 1973 and they married on July 16, 1978. Cece loved her family and stayed home to raise her girls, attending countless plays and concerts over the years, always sitting in the front row. Later, she worked for Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance Agency as a claims adjuster, where she made many new friends.
Cece loved all Boston sports teams (until the Pats traded Bledsoe), none more than the Celtics of the 1980s. She loved walking Wollaston Beach with Rich, talking and visiting with her niece and closest friend Julie, attending her nephews’ hockey games, grabbing a bite at the Clam Box, taking trips to Plymouth to take photographs, and catching up with friends and family on Facebook. She was famous for making Irish bread on St. Patrick’s Day, and Nana’s “Puddin” for Christmas. Mostly, she loved laughing with Rich. She will be dearly missed.
Due to the COVID restrictions, services will be held at a later date. Cece always gave to causes that were close to her heart. If she touched your heart, pass it on with a donation to a charity of your choice.
