Obituary

Bridgewater- Carl G. Cederquist, 74, of Bridgewater died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, unexpectedly, at St. Elizabeth’s
Medical Center in Brighton. He was the husband of the late Marilyn A. (MacMinn) Cederquist.

Born in West Bridgewater on Jan. 4, 1933, hsi parents were the late Carl W. & Celia (Gillard) Cederquist.

He grew up in Dorchester & was a graduate of Boston English High School.

Mr. Cederquist was a U.S.M.C. veteran of the Korean War & was wounded in action serving our country. He received the Purple Heart and Victory Medal.

He was a graduate of Mass. State Police Academy, 40th R.T.T., Class of 1956.

Mr. Cederquist was a retired sergeant Of the Mass. State Trooper, retiring in 1972, and then became Deputy of directors for the M.D.C Parks & Recreations.

He was a former member of Mass. State Troopers Assoc. and a member of the Bridgewater Vets Club.

He is survived by his children, Carl of Franklin, John of Plymouth, William & Gary, both of Bridgewater; ten grandchildren & one great grandson. He was the brother of the late Arthur Cederquist.

His Funeral service will be held in The Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Wednesday at 10 am. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cem., West Bridgewater.
