Katie Lee Bester (71) of Brockton died May 24th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital on the same day as her loving daughter Monica who passed away unexpectedly in Boston.
She was born in Rose Hill, Mississippi, daughter of the late Ethel Mae (McGowan) Bester and Charles Bester. Katie was a care giver for her family members and was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Brockton. She enjoyed fishing, going to church, shopping, gardening and listening to gospel music.
Katie is survived by a son Corey Bester of Brockton, a daughter Connie Bester of Brockton, 3 brothers, Fred, Gerald and Isaiah Bester, 4 sisters, Pat, Williefae and Hattie Mae Bester and Emma Earleme, 7 grandchildren, Asha, Darieus, Tyrick, Malik, Jalgce, Corey Jr. and Chloe.
Due to the COVID-19 State, National Mandate and for the Health and Safety of the Community, Graveside Services for Katie Lee Bester and Monica Earlene Bester will be held privately at the family's convenience in Melrose Cemetery.
