Lillian Seipel, 85, of Anderson, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020.
She was born in Jeff, Kentucky, to the late James and Gertrude Carter.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 65 years, Herbert Seipel, a daughter, Connie (Dave) Stenger; her granddaughters, Ashley (Matt) Hanna, Lindsey (Tim) Hardesty, Riley (Jordan) Worley, and two great granddaughters, Emma Hardesty and Ava Worley.
Lillian was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
She retired from Anderson Banking Company after 34 years of service. She later volunteered at Community Hospital in Anderson for many years. She was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Lillian, lovingly known to family as Nanny, spent a lifetime nurturing those around her, lived with the heart of a servant, and found no greater joy than spending time with family and friends.
Lillian always looked forward to sunny days spent with family in the pool, at Lake Michigan or relaxing on her patio.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Matt Manning. Friends may visit with the family from 3-5 PM on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
