Adored by her great grandchildren, Cassie, MJ, Abigail, Olivia, Madison and Jason, Jr.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 6:30pm with visitation from 3 to 6:30pm. Burial will be held at a later date in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038. A member of the Jehovah Witnesses always a faithful sister.

Ellen V. (Jansky) Pettigrew of East Bridgewater died peacefully Sunday morning at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born, raised and educated in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frederick D. and Eleanor M. (Martin) Jansky. Ellen moved from Boston to Brockton in 1972 and had been a resident of East Bridgewater since 1992. For over 20 years she had been employed by Stone & Webster in Boston, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies, Dunkin Donuts, Diet Coke, popcorn and spending time with her great grandchildren. She was a dedicated member of the Jehovah Witnesses for over 30 years.
She is survived by 2 daughters Christine Rapoza of Whitman and Beth Macomber of Center Barnstead, NH, one son Scott Pettigrew of Brockton, seven grandchildren Jason, Melissa, Ashleigh, Molly, Billy, Adam and Katie, six great grandchildren, Cassie, MJ, Abigail, Olivia, Madison and Jason, Jr., many nieces and nephews, seven brothers Fred Jansky of East Bridgewater, Paul Jansky of Whitman, Kevin Jansky of Whitman, Dennis Jansky of Marlboro, Joe Jansky of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Jansky of East Bridgewater and David Gannon of Brockton and five sisters Jean Russo of Lakeview Terrace, CA, Kathleen Egan of Whitman, Linda Pettigrew of Pembroke, Diane Sturgill of Virginia Beach, VA and Corinne Young of East Bridgewater
