Louise A. (Menenello) Ilsley 75, of Franklin, died peacefully, at her home, Thursday May 21, 2020, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Herrick “The Legend” Ilsley, who died in 2019.
Born July 23, 1944 in Boston, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Ella (Kempton) Menenello, she was a resident of Franklin for over 50 years.
She was raised and educated in Allston and worked as a machine operator for Buckley and Mann.
Louise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she treasured spending time with her family, knitting and bowling. Louise enjoyed being the passenger on her late husband Harley Davidson, where they would go on long rides.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Cherly A. Brown and her husband Kevin of Franklin, Patricia L. Blais and her husband Bruce of Blackstone, Joyce Boisvert of Franklin and Vickki Lavoie and her husband Brian of Franklin, and a brother William Menenello of Dorchester.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and restrictions on public gatherings, services will be private.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
